Abstract |
At present, the flexible manufacturing system is still the mainstream of the traditional manufacturing industry, and the capacity planning of the flexible manufacturing system has always been a hot research topic in the industry. The flexible manufacturing system is a highly automated manufacturing system that allows processing machines to have partial flexibility to manufacture a series of products of different specifications. Since the capital expenditures of flexible manufacturing systems are generally very large, if production capacity can be planned effectively, investment benefits can be maximized, which is a good issue. Applying network reliability theory to capacity planning of flexible manufacturing systems is a new attempt. There are not many relevant documents. This article proposes application research in this area, which can lead to a theoretically better plan. This article also presents a case study to illustrate how to implement capacity planning applications based on network reliability theory. |
