Abstract |
The purpose of the study is to design and implementation of a Fully Autonomous Service Robot (FASR) for large-scale restaurants and food courts. It can be run and operate on its own in the large restaurant or food court to achieve the functions of collecting plates and cutlery, obstacles avoidance, remote-monitoring, and self-recharging. To implement the goal, the researcher designed the unit of infrared reflective sensor, circular supersonic sensor, image capture monitoring, smart power monitoring, central processing and control, DC motor control, and wireless charging for the electronic requirements. In terms of software, PID control system of central processing and control as well as remote monitoring system based on Raspberry Pi are used. As for the mechanical aspect, the researcher has completed the planning, design, and assembly of the fully autonomous service robot. The result of actual experiment verifies the effectiveness of the system. |
