  • Abstract Taiwan is located in Europe and Asia plate collision zone, the formation of the complex geological conditions, with the construction of promoting economic development, especially transport network of development the increasing.the tunnel construction through the mountains can not avoid.the tunnel needs to set an appropriate distance from the sidewalk .service road or export dealers for emergency treatment and escape. at the same time help the purpose of ventilation or traffic diversion.the main tunnel and the cross-section of the service tunnels construction.Due to rock deformation, concentration of stress and adverse conditions, may affect the stability of the tunnel.
This study use the United States Itasca Consulting Group Inc. the research to develop the software FLAC 3 D 2.10 version as a tools. And simulate the overburden depth of 200m, diameter of 12m in with Hsueh-shan of the main tunnel, service tunnel with the U-shaped section (width 9.6m, height 6.8m), the main tunnel of digging over a distance of cross-section,further to service tunnel excavation, the studies different digging in the main tunnel and service tunnel in the construction of process effect.Based on the research and analysis of the deformation, stress situation, providing a cross-section of the construction and planning and design reference.
