Abstract | The Taiwan area is narrow and densely populated. Due to the undulating terrain, most of the population is concentrated in the urban area, which drives the development and transformation of the urban area, and the appearance of the city is constantly changing. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of life and development in cities with a high population concentration, government units must think about how to effectively and quickly update existing maps to assist important construction, promote renewal, and other digital urban needs. In recent years, photogrammetry by drones has become more and more popular. This study focuses on the results of topographic surveys in small areas and is an attempt to use drones to assist topographic mapping. This study focuses on the results of topographic surveys in small areas. In this study, a consumer drone is used with an image camera to produce a 3D model with image matching operations under different altitude requirements of civil aviation regulations. The model was used for mapping of features to understand the accuracy achieved and to analyze whether it could replace traditional topographic survey of ground objects. The result will accelerate the development and promotion of urban regeneration. |
