Abstract | Slippery roads are a problem that has always existed from before to now. Because of Taiwan's climatic factors, every year from April to June is the rainy season; and from July to September is the typhoon season. It has been raining for nearly half a year, which appears to be the importance of anti-slip tiles. Young people may just be slightly bruised when fall and it will be fine after few days. However, it is common for elders to fall and suffer pain for 10 days or half months. It might even end up in the hospital that is a very serious matter. As for the cause of slipping and falling, it is related to personal and environmental factors, Improve the anti-skid coefficient of the material for easier control, just apply anti-slip agent. Different tiles have different performances in terms of anti-slip. Anti-slip fluid was used in this study, and test different tiles using different anti-slip agent ratios to analyze the anti-slip. In this study, the formulated anti-slip agent is composed of water, fluoride and oxalic acid, and mash the agglomerates evenly. Let stand to observe the degree of dissolution. If there is no obvious precipitation and agglomeration, then the anti-slip agent can be applied about 10 ml to the tile. Three kinds of tiles were selected for the test. They are quartz, marble and granite. The British pendulum test, according to ASTM E303, used to record the three kinds of tiles with/without anti-slip fluid. Use the anti-slip agent of 10 ml with different composition ratios to analyze the anti-slip ability. The best anti-skid ability is quartz tile whose anti-slip fluid is 5% oxalic acid with 11% fluoride. The BPN reaches 73.23, very low risk of falling. The best anti-slip ability in granite whose anti-slip fluid with is same as the quartz tile. Its BPN is 52.57, The risk of falling is low. However, you still need to pay attention to whether the floor is wet or slippery, may fall and hurt. The best anti-slip ability in marble tiles is white marble tiles, whose anti-slip fluid is 13% oxalic acid with 7% fluoride. Its BPN reached 65.7. The risk of slipping and falling is very low. |
