| Abstract | This study uses literature analysis and comparative method to explore the fire prevention management system and fire prevention awareness education in Taiwan, the United State, and Japan. The following conclusions were made in this study is Taiwan and Japan belong to the generalist management model, while the U.S. belongs to the specialist management model. In terms of fire prevention management objects, Taiwan takes the floor area, fire hazard characteristics and the number of people housed as the standard; Japan takes the overall fire prevention object size and the number of people housed as the standard; the U.S. takes the characteristics of each site as the standard. In addition¡Ain the U.S. and Japan, the education curriculum is focused on preparedness and response, while in Taiwan, the education curriculum is fragmented and the teachers are trained to teach fire prevention, but Taiwan is not focusing on this part. |
