Abstract | At present, the culture of business circles is often a special space designed to meet the needs of urban transportation, and the combination of underground shopping malls and MRT transportation in department stores has become one of the major features in Taipei. This special shopping mall space presents the characteristics of being closed, underground and complicated. When a fire accident occurs, there will be difficulties in communication, life search and rescue, and smoke exhaust. This study takes the underground mall in the East District of Taipei City as a representative, uses the past experience of rescuing complex shopping malls and finds out advanced actions from domestic and foreign disaster relief cases, in order to strengthen the efficiency of domestic firefighters in the rescue of underground mall fires. This study finds out the advanced plan for fire rescue in underground shopping malls by sorting out case studies and laws, and then finds out the feasibility of the advanced method through expert interviews and actual military exercises. Find out the difficulties and deficiencies encountered in rescue from the actual cases at home and abroad, and then find a more suitable rescue method for firefighters from the deficiencies. The most important thing to rescue a fire in an underground street is to avoid the spread of the fire and the search and rescue of human life. The conclusions drawn from the expert interviews and war game drills in this study are as follows:1. In the early stage of fire extinguishing, more fire fighting equipment should be used to reduce the spread of fire.2. An integrated platform should be established, and fire rescue drills should be conducted regularly to cultivate the tacit understanding among various support units.3. A unified standard operating procedure for emergency response should be formulated to enhance the horizontal connection between management and operation units.4. Improve disaster relief equipment for firefighters, regularly replace old equipment with new ones to improve disaster relief efficiency. |
