| Abstract | Cross-Industry Strategic Alliance (CISA) refers to the sharing of technology, resources, capabilities and knowledge among enterprises or organizations from different industries to enhance the competitiveness and innovation of the alliance. Take the education industry chain as an example, the Inter-industry Strategic Alliance has gradually become an important strategy for education organizations to break through the operational bottleneck and expand the market territory. Facing the multiple challenges of infantilization, digital transformation and high competition in the education market, the education industry is facing the pressure of structural adjustment. In particular, small and medium-sized educational organizations, with limited resources and insufficient professional manpower, need to leverage the power of cross industry collaboration to integrate external resources such as technology, marketing, public relations, and publishing to enhance the overall value of their services and brand visibility. This study adopts a qualitative research methodology to collect the perspectives of educational institution operators and partners with experience in cross-sector collaboration through semi-structured in-depth interviews for a thematic analysis. The interviewees include the tutoring industry, education V technology companies, publishers, and brands with rich practical experience. The study found that strategic alliances in the education industry are mainly in the form of brand co-creation, resource exchange, and program cooperation, and the motivation for cooperation includes market expansion, service innovation, and brand image enhancement. In addition, this study also summarizes three key conditions for successful cross-industry collaboration: clear and consistent goals, complementary resources, and good communication and coordination mechanisms. Without clear division of labor and consensus building, cross-sector collaboration is susceptible to friction due to cultural differences and organizational mindset. Finally, based on the results of the study, this paper puts forward practical suggestions, hoping to provide specific and feasible strategic references for educational organizations in promoting cross-border cooperation. |
