| Abstract | According to the global database website NUMBEO, Taiwan has continuously ranked as the world's top in the Global Health Care Index since the year 2020. Given the longstanding public concern regarding healthcare in Taiwan, efforts are being made to provide a comprehensive upgrade and enhance the quality of medical spaces. This thesis aims to explore hospital mall renovations and proposes some empirical guidelines and perspectives. The goal is to reduce economic and time losses due to unfamiliarity with practical aspects and accumulate renovation experience. By integrating innovative ideas into the renovation environment, the overall quality of medical spaces can be improved. The study employs rigorous academic research methods including field surveys and literature analysis to investigate the design of hospital mall spaces and highlight key considerations and empirical summaries for practical renovation projects. It evaluates the current status of hospital mall renovation designs and provides specific recommendations in conclusion, aiming to offer meaningful references for the construction of hospital malls in Taiwan. The overarching vision includes elevating Taiwan's overall healthcare environment to sustain its top global healthcare ratings. Additionally, in the future, alongside tourism, Taiwan's healthcare system may open its services to foreigners, thus promoting national economic development and further advancing healthcare quality |
