Abstract | Since the establishment of the Fire Department on March 1, 1984, the fire department has officially separated from the police system and become an independent agency. However, due to the insufficient number of people in the early stages of establishment and the need to be on standby within the unit, the vacation system for firefighters has been criticized and even affects the general public. Take the firefighter's will. Moreover, because this job often faces extremely high pressure and psychological burden, risking life safety to rescue people in distress, coupled with the increasing business volume and death rate, the job satisfaction of field firefighters continues to be low. This study conducted a study on the job satisfaction of field firefighters after the work leave system was implemented on January 1, 2012. It explored the relationship between the duty leave system and job satisfaction. It was found that the duty leave system reform did have an impact on firefighters. Job satisfaction has been significantly improved, but there are also areas that need to be strengthened regarding fatigue, reward systems, and safety. |
