Title | The Survival Rate of OHCA Under Pandemic- A Case Study of COVID-19 of Taipei City | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | The COVID-19 spread all over the world. Thus, a large number of people to be infected and get severely ill or even die. During the epidemic, the emergent cases of cardiopulmonary cessation before arriving at the hospital that count against every second can continue to occur. Emergency rescue technicians must wear protective clothing for self-protection, resulting in late contact with patients and delays the time which it takes to undergo cardiopulmonary resuscitation. According to researches, the delaying cardiopulmonary resuscitation increases the mortality rate by 7%-10% every minute, which can be expected to cause a decline in the survival rate of patients with cardiopulmonary cessation. This study focuses on the survival rate of patients with cardiopulmonary cessation before arrival. First discuss whether wearing protective clothing has an effect on the survival rate of patients with cardiopulmonary cessation, and then discuss whether online guidance is beneficial to patients and improves the survival rate of patients with cardiopulmonary cessation. The results of the study show that wearing standard protections affect the attendance response time, from an average of 4 minutes and 11 seconds in 108 years to an average of 6 minutes and 36 seconds in 109 years, an increase of 1 minute and 25 seconds, which reduced the survival rate of patients from 6.50% to 5.39%. The indicators of DA-CPR cannot meet the standards, and the effectiveness is greatly reduced. |
