Abstract |
This thesis discusses the impact of roll cage reinforcement on the body rigidity of light tactical vehicles. A roll cage, also known as a ¡§Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS), is crucial in enhancing the safety of passengers and is widely used in racing cars, ATVs, agricultural machinery, and military reconnaissance vehicles. The design and construction of a roll cage involves meticulous selection of materials, structural strength calculation and manufacturing procedures. The components must be tested and certified according to relevant standards to ensure the roll cage effectively protects the passengers. |
