Abstract | People demand better air quality, In particular, after Chai Jingˇ¦s ˇ§Under the domeˇ¨film broadcasted. They suffered from fine particulate matter at certain times, the air is so polluted people cannot go outside. Air quality is good or bad become important issues. According latest annoce Kaohsiung and Pingtung are class III control regions, that means the region does not meet the air quality standards and PM10 and O3 are the index pollutants. In this study, the Kao-Ping area was selected for discussion. EPA have established automatic air quality monitoring stations since 1994 in Taiwan, there are so far 77 stations . In this study, we selected 7 from to discuss their air quality from 2009to 2018. The results showed that the bad air quality days in this area for recent 10 years has significantly reduced at the previous five years and slow decreasing trend at the last five years. All stations have the same trend that bad air quality days occured in September to March. The Index pollutants was ozone except the traffic station Fengshan. As a result, pollutants of CO, NO2, SO2, NMHC, PM10 and PM2.5 have decreasing trend in last five years,. In accordance with the monthly analysis, June to August had least concentration of pollutants. According to hourly concentration analysis, a higher value during the CO, NO2, SO2, NMHC and O3 have to work from 8:00 to 18:00, and the level of PM2.5 and PM10 concentration change irregularly . |
