Abstract |
The main function of automobile fuel gauge is to indicate the fuel left in the tank. The accurate of fuel gauge will affect the traffic safety and userˇ¦s convinence , itˇ¦s one of the important automobile components .This research develops an automatic optical inspection system for automobile fuel gauge .A mon-contact optical inspection module in used for fuel pointer position detection .The fuel pointer relative angular variation is measured by image processing ,and the fuel gage is simulated by electric circuit to drive the fuel pointer in different position .By this way ,the fuel level of tank and the fuel pointed sensitivity can be estimated .The inspection system integrate the mechanism ,mechetronic module and vision module and a embedded real time CCD with a developed correspondence software to complete an inspection system without PC .This research checks the accurate and response sensitivity by many experiments .The experiment results show the developed inspection system is available . |
