| Abstract | With the popularization of the Internet and the changes of the times, the mode of wedding banquet has gradually been dominated by bride and groom. Compared with the traditional wedding banquet process, there are more performances, games and interactions with guests nowadays, it increases the importance of the configuration of stage space and the design of the entrance aisle. In recent years, due to the popularity of the Marriage Ceremony, some hotels and restaurants begun to add indoor or outdoor place for the Marriage Ceremony. Some wedding banquet venues with independent spaces for the Marriage Ceremony also appearing one after another. For such types of venues, especially which with natural grassland outdoor wedding venues, since they are usually served with buffet-style meals, it is more important in venue space configuration and moving lines. The plan for space configuration needs to be based on the needs of the couple and the wedding process. There are lots of details, such as properly arrange the space size and location of each area, the moving line and path for different groups of people, and the location, method and quantity of tables and chairs. Due to the lack of research on the space of modern wedding banquet venues in domestic literature, this study is based on the researcherˇ¦s own experience of visiting wedding banquet venues and holding wedding banquets, and in-depth interviews with the researcherˇ¦s wife and the wedding company commissioner who undertook the cases listed in this study. The researcher also study some theory of catering space configuration, and summed up the calculation formula of the maximum capacity of the wedding venue space. In order to carry out the research, the researcher plans the appropriate space configuration and moving lines for specific cases, to increase the comfort, convenience and visual effect of guests. |
