| Abstract |
The New Taipei City government has trained a total of 1,765 promotion officers, of whom 334 have lost their qualifications, leaving only 1,431 still qualified. This study collected opinions and perspectives from current promotion officers, those whose licenses have expired, and community residents through surveys and expert interviews. The survey results showed that both government agencies and community residents generally affirmed the professional level and execution ability of the promotion officers, while acknowledging that some areas need to be strengthened and improved to maintain this well-intentioned system and attract more talented individuals to join this work. The survey results identified four aspects for improvement: shifting from individual to team promotion officers, assistance from supervising agencies in assigning cases to promotion officers, canceling the requirement for promotion officers to be stationed in public agencies, and enhancing the level of promotion officer licenses. |
