Title | An Evaluation of Fire-Prevention and Rescue Activities for Aged Buildings in Narrow Alleys - Case Study of Chaoyang Village of BanqiaoDistrict in New Taipei City | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | Old houses are often located in narrow alleys. The narrow alleys have limited road width and may be as long as more than 100 meters, accompanied by a large number of cars and motorcycles, accumulation of debris, old wires and Certain areas may be used for market purposes during the day and night markets at night. Disaster rescue is time efficiency, that is, the losses caused by disasters will expand rapidly with time. The above factors affecting disaster rescue make the rescue of old houses in narrow alleys more difficult. The key to the success of fire rescue is "time". This study will discuss two basic aspects that affect the time limit of rescue, namely "prevention" and "rescue action". In terms of fire prevention, the focus is on fire-fighting civil force organizations (the volunteer fire advocacy team) and the promotion of the effectiveness of residential fire alarms. The above actions are used to detect the occurrence of fire early, so as to facilitate early response, escape and report. In terms of rescue operations, it mainly discusses the division of labor and actions of the fire brigade for fire rescue in narrow alleys, and develops corresponding advanced methods (for example: drawing a road map for the rescue of difficult areas, and using a water hose while towing and wiring. Wait). It is hoped that through the above two aspects, the fire can be detected early and put out in time, and the loss of life and property of the people has been maximized. |
