| Abstract | Introducing Architecture Construction Resume into Construction Industry, categorizing information according to each phase of construction, can significantly help us understand and control quality and the construction process. Information collected from each construction stage can be applied to the maintaining, reusing, reproducing, and recycling building materials. The building-related resources can be shared and recycled in order to extend the lifetime of a building. In this case, the construction industry can break free from its one-time-usage lifespan. This research applied Literature Review to collect Architecture Construction Resume related literature and interviews with professionals to propose suggestions and corrections for Architecture Construction Resume¡¦s application to building management and maintenance, specifically in structure construction and interior renovation. In this research, a residential building in Taipei was taken as an example to demonstrate the process. A series of Architecture Construction Resumes was designed to inspect and check the result of construction during the structure and interior stage. The documented information becomes references to other construction phases and a guide for future maintenance or reconstruction. The Resume incorporates the cumulative data and integrates the information. iii In recent years, social housings were built one after another. The need for Architecture Construction Resume in construction and management and maintenance of public buildings arises accordingly. We expect developers and contractors to raise their interest in applying Architecture Construction Resume to intensify self-management during construction and building material quality control for the private buildings. With an independent and professional third party to authenticate and supervise, the Architecture Construction Resume will be reliable and credible. The collected data and building resources together potentiate future management and maintenance. This system can also be applied to existing buildings, i.e., historical buildings, for further restoration and preservation. Not only by this means an Architecture Construction Resume of an existing building is created, but also an ideal platform for maintenance and management. The lifespan of a building can be thus largely thus extended. |
