| Abstract | Abstract In recent years, there have been major casualties and fires in the traditional public markets at home and abroad, mainly due to the escape of unfavorable persons such as the small number of exits, narrow passages and accumulation of debris. Therefore, the fire safety equipment in the market has become an important equipment in the early stage of fire rescue. This study analyzes and discusses the lack of maintenance of fire safety equipment in the traditional public market. Based on the concepts of literature discussion and questionnaire survey, the "Research on Innovative Services of Fire Safety Overhaul in the Public Market" is proposed, hoping to provide local governments with reference in the management of the public market. The firefighting equipment with the most overhaul defects is the fire alarm equipment, indoor and outdoor fire hydrant equipment, automatic sprinkler equipment, foam fire extinguishing equipment, smoke exhaust equipment and other four firefighting equipment overhaul defects, which also have a great impact on the fire extinguishing efficiency. It is hoped that the innovative service of fire management can provide complex equipment systems with better efficiency. The frequency of equipment overhaul is too long, the old equipment is urgently needed to be updated, and the retail market management is complicated and the benefits are not good, showing the current state of old equipment and poor management performance. There are great expectations for the professional fire technical personnel stationing in market management services, strengthening the work training of market fire management personnel and conducting fire drills for market users.
