  • Abstract ¡@This thesis investigates the competition for crude oil in the world today is at the threshold of an energy crisis, but unlike the past energy crisis, this time will be a long-term and sustained crisis. Because of the dependence on crude oil and the competition of oilfields in the world, the main reason for the problem is the rapid increase in population, which has led to a surge in the use of fossil fuels. In order to slow the depletion of crude oil and dependence on crude oil, the use of biofuels is Today's hot topic. The most common manufacturing method for biodiesel is the transesterification reaction. It is a triglyceride which is the main component of vegetable oils and fats, and then reacts with an alcohol fuel ¡]usually methanol¡^ as a catalyst to form fatty acid methyl esters, while the physical and chemical properties of fatty acid methyl esters and petrochemicals Diesel is very similar or even better. Therefore, this study will use nano-alumina Al2O3 particles with a fixed concentration of 50ppm to add nanometer Al2O3 emulsified biodiesel with different water concentration ratios of 5¢H, 8¢H, and 10¢H as fuel for testing. The effects of low-concentration nano-fuel on diesel engine performance, fuel consumption rate and exhaust emission pollution of different density emulsified biomass diesel were investigated. The results of the study confirmed that the BMEP value and the exhaust gas emission concentration values of the emulsified biomass diesel with higher water density and low concentration of nano- Al2O3 could be improved except for the higher BSFC value.
