Abstract |
With the development of information technology and networking facilitiesĦA our daily lives are efficiently improved and our life qualities are enhanced continuously. Further moreĦA this improvement also makes our environment smarterĦA safer and more convenient. The concept of IoT Ħ]Internet of Things) headed the information industry and the development of technology into a new era. General speakingĦA in IoT environmentĦA there are many objects that surround objects and people will be on the network in one form or another. These objects senseĦA controlĦA communicate and manage between each other supporting peopleĦĤs necessities of lifeĦA such as eatingĦA clothingĦA housingĦA trafficĦA educationĦA entertainment and health care. The traditional life styles are forced to transform into new onesĦA which are more intelligentĦA easily handled and manageable. In this studyĦA the current researchĦA further analysis and industry tendency of smart home in Taiwan are discussed. What will be the main challenge when smart home is constructed? How the government coordinates with main smart home solution provider and facilities manufacturers? The observations and investigations of current states and trends in future of smart home in neighboring countries are conducted as well. In the conclusionĦA we propose an induction via case collection and study and make some suggestion for better development environment in smart home in Taiwan. |
