  • Abstract The solar energy is converted into heat energy and then converted from heat energy into electricity energy, which has been the pursuit of the best way to generate electricity without consuming the Earth's resources and polluting in recent years. But the conversion efficiency of solar energy has never been able to significantly enhance, which is now the most necessary problem to be broken through. In this experiment on improving the efficiency of solar concentrator lens, f = 8 cm, f = 12 cm and f = 20 cm are used under different heights of the condenser and under different halogen light source brightness lens at different focus. It will produce different power change, and the maximum efficiency value of this experiment should be found out. In terms of concentration, four different brightness of halogen light, 600W, 750W, 900W and 1000W are adjusted to irradiate on different focus lens. Then the height of silicon solar panels are adjusted in order to measure the maximum power that the condensing lens make, and solar energy conversion efficiency of the translation is quoted to formulate the best efficiency value. Then the black acrylic panels which are put on the bottom showing different model to find out whether to produce better efficiency values, and PV curves and efficiency charts are made to show clearly that the efficiency values of silicon solar panels can be significantly improved with black acrylic plate condenser, so that silicon solar panels get more efficient power generation.
