  • Abstract The main purpose of this paper is to propose a new type of electronic pulse diagnosis instrument that is made by polymer, and applied to the study on pulse of physiological signals. Unlike the past, most of the pulse diagnosis instrument acquisition unit is the use of pressure transducers or micro-actuators, etc., belong to a rigid mechanical pulse diagnosis instrument. We use polymer as a material made of sensors, because it has a soft, plastic characteristics can be made of non-rigid pulse diagnosis instrument. In addition, considering the stability of the measurement, the system is also combined with a wrist pulse method to retrieve the pulse, and according to Chinese medicine diagnoses, we take the pulse from cun, guan, chi of radial artery respectively. There are three directions in measurement applications; the first application is the pulse wave velocity measurements, the degree of hardening of the blood vessel wall is measured in second application, the final application is a resonant wave measurement, and the results correspond to the body's organs. Considering long-distance medical care in the future, we develop home care interface that makes measurement results with humane manner. We combine remote WEB function and then upload the measurement results to the Internet, providing hospital for remote monitoring.
