  • Abstract This study adopts the EEWH-RS Green Building Evaluation System as its analytical framework, selecting three green building cases of different certification levels¡XDiamond, Gold, and Silver¡Xas research subjects. A comparative analysis is conducted across nine key indicators, including biodiversity, greenery volume, site water retention, daily energy conservation, carbon dioxide reduction, waste reduction, indoor environmental quality, water resource efficiency, and sewage and waste management.
The research examines case data, evaluation metrics, and indicator content to identify differences among the selected cases in terms of environmental benefits, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and resource utilization.
The results indicate that significant differences exist in the performance of green buildings across different certification levels. Diamond-level cases demonstrate superior performance in ecological indicators such as biodiversity, greenery volume, and site water retention, attributed to their larger open spaces and comprehensive ecological planning. Furthermore, through the integration of high-efficiency energy-saving systems, water recycling strategies, and green design, these cases achieve enhanced overall environmental performance. Gold-level cases perform well in indicators such as daily energy conservation, water resource management, and carbon dioxide reduction, reflecting strong resource integration capabilities under conditions of high-density urban development. In contrast, Silver-level cases primarily meet basic evaluation standards, showing relatively lower performance in the integration of greenery, ecology, and energy-saving measures.
In addition, the study finds that indoor environmental quality plays a crucial role in the overall performance of green buildings. Factors such as natural lighting, sound insulation, ventilation, and the use of green building materials are closely associated with occupant comfort and building health. These findings suggest that the core of high-level green buildings lies not merely in individual energy-saving measures, but in the integration of cross-indicator design and the implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies. Such strategies encompass ecological habitat creation, hydrological management, energy efficiency enhancement, and resource recycling across multiple dimensions.
