Abstract | With the rapid development of Taiwanˇ¦s metropolitan area, the population is concentrated in major cities, and the demand for housing is gradually increasing. Nowadays, the quality of life is gradually being ignored and living space is getting smaller and smaller. By referring to Singapore's garden city to improve the living pressure in Taiwan. The purpose has four points. Firstly, it is to explore similar living conditions, application qualifications, and environments in between domestic and foreign. Next, it is to analyze similar residential regulations and equal housing opportunity in between domestic and foreign. Then, it is to compare the design standards and living habits of public housing in various regions. Lastly, improving the quality of life and the surrounding environment of the community. Through the literature analysis, literature collection, and field research, the writer explores the concept of a rental house in between Singapore and Taiwan, reviews the development of Singapore public housing, and focuses on the planning of the community facilities and the living space. After analyzing, classification, and induction of the data, the writer sorts out the core of the similar living quality and space between Singapore and Taiwan. Based on the research, the writer strongly agrees that the report can positive suggestions for future public housing. After sorting out the research, the following suggestions are proposed: 1. Improving the differences in government regulations, and give protection for the residence in various regions. 2. According to the needs of the different ethnic groups, build different facilities and room types in a diversified way. |
