Abstract | The purpose of this paper is to discuss the relationship between cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and confidence, attitude, knowledge in elementary school and junior high school teachers in Xindian District, New Taipei City. A total amount of 200 questionnaires were issued, recovering questionnaires 164 shares and the rate of return was 82 percent. 159 valid questionnaires were obtained. The results are summarized as follows: First, there was 94.3 percent of the teachers are worried about getting into court due to AED using. It downgrade to 46.5 percent after training courses. Improvement of skills and confidence help reduce worries about getting into court and establish the safe and secure environment of campus. Second, take focus on the level of voluntary of CPR courses participation, teachers with 16 to 25 years of service was the lowest. Surprisingly, they had more confidence of CPR procedures. It seems times of training may lead to the result. |
