Title | Analysis of Precast Concrete Block for Trackwork | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | Abstract For Taipei MRT new construction, the duration of rail track construction has usually become the biggest and influential factor. Therefore, if the time of rail track construction can be shortened, the MRT service can open earlier, and can achieve the goal of urban convenience more quickly. Hence, this research hopes to create the best economic efficiency by improving the traditional way of Direct Fixation Track (DF Track), deeply analyzing from design to construction, and proposing a new alternative effective way of construction. In addition, for the disadvantages of the traditional baseplate bearing surface grinding, we have to design and create the precast concrete block to improve, and the new way of the precast concrete block couldnˇ¦t violate the principle of Taipei MRT DF Track and Plinth structure. The main purpose of precast concrete block is increasing the convenience of construction, simplifying the process of construction, and shortening the duration of construction. This research concentrates on the costs of material application, manpower utilization, machinery, environmental limitation, and material transportation in DF Track Concrete Baseplate Construction Method, and compared the new way with the traditional way. The result shows that although the costs of precast concrete block on materials is increasing, the costs of total cost analysis is slightly reducing about 15%. Besides, the time is sharply shortening about 46%, and it is effectively increasing the environment of construction and operation time. Moreover, precast concrete block also can respond to the current trend of international ecological conservation and substantial conservation, toward the goal of decreasing the environmental contamination. Through the improvement of construction, and curtailment of the construction time, the opening of track can be earlier, and the urban convenience can be earlier, too, and these can effectively achieve the purpose of this research. |
