Title | Energy Dissipation of Perpendicular Porous Pipe Breakwaters | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | This study, the flume section, used pores of the porous structure as a breakwater set of vertical pores permeable breakwaters based on energy dissipation to do family research and experiments with different diameter and length of pipe to form various permeable breakwaters with different conditions.With the various conditions of regular waves, this study is about the wave and its structure with pores generated by the interaction effect and how the change of waves and reflection rate influence the ability and effect of the energy dissipation of such anti-wave methods. The experimental section used hydraulic tank arrangement to carry out waveform measurements according to GODA (1976) using two methods for analysis and regular waves on the vertical permeable breakwater and investigate the impact of differences. Regular waves have regularity and consistency. When the tube diameter and length change, the height and length of the incident wave will have a certain relationship, the reflectance and transmittance alter relatively. Analyzing the test results will find the best configuration of pore size and length, and can be used as the reference for coastal protection with higher security and economy. |
