Abstract | The music reproduction speaker systems combine music art, aesthetics, electricity, mechanics and acoustics to perform high fidelity music. There are five kinds of speaker systems including: sealed type, bass reflex type, horn type, back load horn type, flat plat etc., which have different music presentation effects. In this study, the bass reflex speaker system with 15-inch coaxial units is designed and analyzed, and the plate uses 20mm Medium Density Fiberboard( MDF) to actually build the bass reflex speaker cabinets, and set rectangular bass reflex holes on the front baffle of the speaker. The LEAP simulation software was used to explore the effects of speaker size, the number of sound-absorbing cottons, and the length of the rectangular sound duct on the bass frequency responses. The appropriate speaker size is designed, and the bass reflex speaker systems is actually built and tested. The built speaker system is actually tested with music, and performs music with good sound quality. |
