Abstract | A procedure is After the completion of the building construction, with the increase of the age of the building, the building materials will be aged and deteriorate due to the increase of the service life. According to statistics, the average age of the 8.63 million houses in the country is 30.17 years, of which the age of the house is over 8.06%. Because Taiwan is located at the intersection of the northeast monsoon and the southwest airflow, the climate is humid and hot, and the earthquake is frequent due to the fact that it is in the Pacific fire zone. Due to the above factors, the buildings often have exposed steel bars, rust, concrete expansion and arching, water seepage and cracks. The problems of water seepage and water leakage are common in buildings, which greatly reduces the quality of living. For the existing buildings where water leakage has occurred, how to seek an economic and reliable control strategy, hope to re-grant the old building to extend the service life through the relevant waterproofing method theory and actual cases, and make the leaky maintenance the simplest and most economic way and the analysis are summarized and the best solutions for each type are obtained. In this paper, the leakage of the top layer of six old buildings is collected. The waterproof layer is old and leaking. If it is treated by reinforcement, the possible problems are: continuous leakage, overhaul problems, related warranty responsibility cannot be clarified; therefore, all six cases were constructed by dismantling the existing waterproof layer and re-applying as a new waterproof layer to improve the roof leakage problem and extend the service life of the building. The design of waterproofing method should be timely, appropriate and suitable. Before construction, it should fully communicate with the construction manufacturer, specify the relevant inspection points, and constrain the construction company to construct the construction drawing and construction instructions to ensure that the construction quality meets expectations and the roof waterproofing layer is completed. After that, it should be regularly repaired to maintain the smooth flow of the drain pipe, avoiding the accumulation of water, forming a favorable environment for plant growth, and cleaning the top layer of epiphytic plants to extend the durability of the waterproof layer. |
