  • Abstract This thesis is to develop the tracking mechanism design and testing of the solar tracking system. Due to the gradually shortage of global energy the renewable energy is essential to the alternative energy. The most potential development of the renewable energy is the solar energy. General solar wafers of solar panels have the power of the generating efficiency near 15% by using the solar tracking system it will enable the power generating efficiency increased up to 35% or more. 
    Solar tracking system is a biaxial driven machnism by using a DC motor to drive cylinder and warm gear. It is to build a two-axis traker, and to control the motors through solar senser or programming, controller itcan be set time intervals or angle within the permissible of the deviation angle of the solar panels, futher to drive the motors to save energy. That is through the experiment to demonstrate the well tracking results and the energy saving of the solar tracking system.
