  • Abstract Taiwan common kinds of road diesel vehicles, including trucks, buses, tractors and small trucks, and more for business transport. Due to its emissions than the average gasoline is high, and the total amount plus shipping high mileage diesel vehicles produce more air pollution compared to gasoline vehicles. Exhaust emissions from diesel vehicles with particulate pollutants, smoke, nitrogen oxides based.
    In this study, the Republic 102--104 in Taiwan nearly 300,000 motorcycles and diesel vehicles to the power meter to detect the road blocking the data subject to another vehicle of environmental protection, vehicle brand, vehicle type to distinguish between the qualified and unqualified data were analyzed and discussed.
    The results show that the vehicle is detected in a maximum of two to four cars, each at 104 years of qualified and unqualified average opacity value of the first period were the highest, 1.23m-1 with 4.92m-1, do not go with the period after opacity was significantly reduced opacity fifth of the value of qualified and unqualified 0.16m-1 with 0.95m-1, only the original 10% to 20%. Seen in actual road diesel vehicle pollution status, should be higher than the value of the power meter display high. The results of this study can be used as diesel pollution control of reference.
