Abstract	Greenhouse effect caused by global warming, energy conservation and carbon reduction in the demand for United States and Europe have invested in building work smart meter infrastructure, the government in 2009 declared a national energy conference built into smart meter infrastructure, June 23, 2010 formally approved by the Executive Yuan to promote smart metering infrastructure program. In this study, literature review and interviews exploratory study plan, choose a scale of YN Science and Technology Park, conducted interviews with family and stationed within the Park, summarized the key factors to build smart meter development in Taiwan, providing future can further objective, precise criteria for the evaluation of the development of smart meters.
