  • Abstract In this paper, practical investigation analyzed the noise and vibration of automatic facial tissue interfolder. In this study, using the measuring instruments such as noise decibel meter, impulse-hammer, acceleration, spectrum analysis, and it was comparison of results with ANSYS analysis of simulation.
At the same time, quality control techniques noise and vibration sources folding machine were employed to find out and improve the sources and reasons of noise and vibration which were both from simulation and experimental results which reducing human health risks and impacts.
From the experimental results, both noise measurement frequency and impact testing and ANSYS simulation analysis results showed there was no structural resonances. Noise level was ranging from 88-89 dB when the operative speed of the automatic facial tissue interfolder was 120 m/min and noise level was ranging from 89-90 dB at 130 m/min. As the increase of operative speed, noise decibels is rising higher slowly.
The results of simulation Analysis are similar to the impact test. Natural frequency (1st bending mode) results in the range of 75-81Hz which are also similar to spectrum distribution. On the whole, simulation analysis can be used to predict noise and vibration.
