At present, due to the medical progress and social structure change in Taiwan, leading to the rapid growth of the elderly population, most of whom are earner families, there is a growing demand for long-term care, maintenance and support institutions for the elderly, and these institutions are accommodated by the elderly who are at risk of mobility or difficulty in their own refuge, when a disaster or fire occurs, These asylum-seekers must pass the assistance of other people or other refuge facilities in order to have a smooth refuge or escape, if there is a comprehensive fire management and evacuation measures, that can reduce casualties. This study was carried out through the literature, cause analysis, fire case description and questionnaire survey, to explore the elderly welfare institutions for the current living problems, fire management system awareness, fire protection facilities and evacuation equipment problems, fire self-defense Group exercise implementation and effectiveness, and thus enhance its disaster emergency response capacity, Assist the people in the place and the asylum weak to do the relevant refuge measures, strengthen the personnel escape efficiency, in order to benefit as a similar place in the future refuge for escape reference. |
