| Keyword | |||
| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences and correlations between students' willingness to learn Taiwanese and their effectiveness in learning Taiwanese under different backgrounds and upbringing, and to analyze the influencing factors. A total of 332 valid questionnaires were collected. The data collected were subjected to ¡§narrative statistical analysis¡¨, ¡§factor analysis and reliability analysis¡¨, ¡§independent sample t-test analysis¡¨, ¡§one-way analysis of variance¡¨, ¡§Pearson correlation analysis¡¨, and ¡§regression analysis¡¨ in order to present the results of the study in a complete manner. A total of 332 questionnaires were sent out and 332 questionnaires were returned. The number of valid questionnaires returned was 332, and the validity rate of the returned questionnaires was 100%. The target population of the study included students from different backgrounds and upbringing, and the questionnaire was designed to comprehensively analyze the main factors affecting the learning of Taiwanese language, including willingness to learn, learning effectiveness, and background variables. Through multi-level data analysis, we examined the differences and similarities of students' learning intentions and outcomes under different background conditions, and further explored the interaction between learning motivation and learning outcomes. The results of the study revealed that 1.There were some differences in students' willingness to learn Taiwanese in different contexts and when Taiwanese was spoken at home. This suggests that the influence of upbringing and language exposure on willingness to learn is significant. 2. 2.The partial differences in Taiwanese language learning outcomes between students' backgrounds and home language use indicate that the language environment has a critical influence on language learning outcomes. 3.The correlation analysis between willingness to learn and learning outcomes in Taiwanese indicated a positive correlation, which means that willingness to learn and learning outcomes are very important to each other, and the higher the willingness, the better the learning outcomes, and the interaction between the two is statistically significant. This study suggests that background variables and language environment play an important role in enhancing the willingness and effectiveness of learning Taiwanese. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions and policy makers should endeavor to create appropriate language learning environments to further enhance students' interest and effectiveness in learning Taiwanese by increasing language exposure and the availability of learning resources. |
