  • Abstract The modern variable frequency air conditioning systems ¡]VFACS¡^ operate under cooling load variations and parameter variations,still need satisfied performance of temperature response for energy saving. So that the modern air conditioning systems need a controller with adaptability and learning ability. The conventional PID control is not sufficient to modern VFACS,because the difficulty of control parameters design and without adaptability. The conventional adaptive controls with complicate algorithms are not available for the VAFACS.
    This study,a Neuro,PI controller appled to temperature control for the VFACCS is proposed. A back prpogation neural network ¡]BPN¡^ is applied to tuning the PI controller control parameters algorithms. This study investigates the convergent speed and temperature responses with proposed algorithms by simulations,and the simulation results reveal the proposed method is available to tuning the PI controller control parameters and enhances the adaptability.
