Abstract |
The loudspeaker systems applied to transfer electric power to sound power, loudspeaker system design needs to combine esthetics, electric mechanic and acoustic techniques for a state of the arts production. The different style loudspeakers have different acoustic characteristics for music reproduction. This research designs the bass reflect loudspeaker cabinets for Jensen SG223 two ways dual concentration units, and applies birch wood to establish cabinets with well designed rectangular bass reflect pipe, and building complete speaker systems. The LEAP speaker system design software is applied to simulate the frequency response for the designed speaker cabinets. The appropriate bass reflect pipe length can be designed by LEAP simulation, and the carbon fiber absorber quantity also can be determined by simulation. The complete bass reflect loudspeaker system with Jensen SG223 two ways dual concentration units has been tested with satisfied music reproduction effect. |
