Abstract |
In this paper, in view of the finger mouse, we have conducted the improvement and re-designing process. The main improvement falls on the optical induction angle of the finger mouse to reduce the burden of the finger during operation; a change in the wearing method so that the click key is more ergonomic; and a direct contact key in method that would not easily cause key jamming error. In this study, the experiment is divided into clicking, dragging and interactive operations. There were 10 experimental subjects participating in the experiment. The result showed that the average operating time of the experiment was 4.8 seconds using the mouse, 6.3 seconds using the 2nd generation finger mouse, 6.7 seconds using the finger mouse, and 7.2 seconds using the touch panel. The subjective comparison result demonstrates that the mouse has the highest appraisal, followed by the 2nd generation finger mouse and finger mouse, and with touch panel showing the worse appraisal. This indicates that there is a significant upgrade achievement on the 2nd generation finger mouse over the 1st generation one after it has been improved. |
