Abstract | In view of a fire accident that occurred in the early hours of October 23, 101 in the North Gate Hospital of Xinying Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, a total of 13 people were killed and 59 were injured. In the past 6 years, there have been 8 fires of the nursing center fires.Regardless of whether it causes fatalities or deaths, it has made government agencies pay more and more attention to the importance of fire prevention management, so that the organizations of elderly welfare agency can actively promote fire prevention management to reduce the chances of fires and the respond of activity during fire occured. The purpose of this fire drill study was to find the respond of evacuation in diferent time and human power during fire occurred at the nursing center. The conclusions of the study that caused the death during fire in the nursing center are as follows: (1) Most of them are from the walk inconvenience of the elderly. (2) Insufficient fire fighting equipment in the nursing center. (3) Personnel have insufficient experience in operating fire fighting equipment. (4) The nursing center itself has a weak concept of escape and insufficient awareness of fire prevention. (5) The time of fire occurrence is different and the results will be different. (6) The language barrier of foreign workers leads to delays in notification. (7) The importance of preventing arson. (8) The importance of fire source control. (9) Insufficient fire protection zones or no fire zone. (10) Qualified fire equipment is not equal to safety. (11) Quickly identify the evacuation and weakness identification of the inhabitants. |
