  • Abstract The campus was been a refuge stronghold accommodating surrounding communities in addition to performing their own anti-disaster relief when the disasters occur. Therefore, schools should ordinarily establish various mechanisms for Disaster Prevention and Rescue and drills to ensure protecting themselves from the disaster, and support disaster relief of the surrounding communities or as a refuge accommodating stronghold. This is the campus should be played the role and responsibility in the urban disaster prevention system.
    In fact, it is the most important foundation job to do the investigation analysis of the disaster mitigation potential as usual and draw potential hazard map in order to achieve environmental sustainability. Accordingly, it also has to focus on the disaster potential analysis of the sloping campus so as to create the campus security of the slope. For this reason, this study will be selected a University of Science and Technology near the northern part as a case study to learn more about the disaster potential investigation of the sloping campus and its application circumstances. Finally, the study will go through the sloping monitoring on campus long-term program to offer the monitoring data to regard as the target of the operations management in the sloping campus voluntary disaster prevention applications.
