| Abstract | This study is to researching the model and history of the decorated archway (the stage of the the Taiwanese Puppet show) of the puppet show transmitted from the Mainland China to Taiwan, for the reference of the researchers in the future. According to model the existed decorated archways, the researcher studies their model of constructing, examining whether they follow the regulations of the Lu-ban Ruler or other related rules. Moreover, the researcher builds a simplified decorated archway and improves the structure according to the situation of the performance. To save manpower and material cost, it will be improved in the ways of constructing rapidly, easily to transport, and minimizing the volume when the decorated archway is built. Besides, replacing several musicians and lighting workers by computer systems and stereo facilities is a good way to reducing the manpower in the declining situation of the traditional dramas and shows. The method to lighten the decorated archway is to establish a simplified decorated archway which can be easily transported and assemblied, and design a light lid board to put both the stereo facilities (including the amplifier) and lights without interrupting the performance. |
