Title | Temperature Control for Variable Refrigerant Flow Central Air-conditioning Systems | ||
Keyword | |||
Abstract | The variable refrigerant flow (VRF) central air-conditioning systems (VRFCACS) are developed for energy saving applications. The VRF air-conditioning systems provide low speed operations with low operating load conditions for energy saving. This will decrease the energy dissipation. The conventional PID controls have been applied to the VRFCACS room temperature control for years, but it can not provide nonlinear and time variant control for the complicate VRFCACS. This study establish dynamic model for VRFCACS, and proposes the direct neural control with specified reference model applied to control the room temperature. The room temperature will follow the reference model temperature response for the room temperature energy saving control. The simulation results show the energy-saving performances of proposed method better than conventional PID control. |
