| Keyword | |||
| Abstract | This study aims to explore the importance of implementing a disaster prevention education system in kindergartens, evaluate its impact on children's disaster awareness and behavior, and analyze the key factors for its sustainable promotion. Disaster prevention education is of great significance for young children, as it not only enhances their basic understanding of disasters but also helps develop proper attitudes and effective response behaviors. To support the long-term development of the education system and strengthen disaster resilience, it is essential to investigate the implementation status, effectiveness, and sustainability of disaster prevention education in early childhood settings. This research uses the New Taipei City area's education and care service personnel as the research object and conducts a survey through quantitative research methods. The questionnaire design covers three aspects: disaster prevention knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral performance, and includes views on the feasibility and sustainability of the curriculum to fully understand the experience and views of education and care personnel in practical promotion. Comprehensive analysis of the results shows that most kindergarten teachers and care service personnel have a high level of awareness of disaster response and professional responsibility, and are active and supported in disaster prevention teaching and the use of teaching aids. Overall, teachers and care personnel generally believe that there is still room for improvement and optimization in disaster prevention education. This study recommends that in the future, professional disaster prevention training for teachers and care personnel should be strengthened, age-appropriate teaching materials should be developed and included in the formal curriculum, and an effective and sustainable disaster prevention education mechanism should be established to protect their life safety and physical and mental well-being. |
