  • Abstract The distribution and dispatch of emergency medical technicians
(Emergency Medical Technician¡AEMT) is an important issue. However,
whether EMT attendance and level have an impact on the prognosis and
survival of patients with out-of-hospital Cardiopulmonary Arrest (OHCA)
before the hospital has not yet been determined. Therefore, the goal of this
study is to explore the correlation between the number of EMT attendance
and the level of survival and prognosis of OHCA patients.
The scope of the study is based on the detachment of the first disaster relief
team of the New Taipei City Government Fire Bureau. According to the Utstein
Style to take a retrospective analysis, according to the follow-up of ambulance
personnel to the implementation of emergency treatment, patients, records and
data collection and integration. Analyze the factors that affect the emergency
injuries of the affiliated team, and prove it by analyzing the data.
    iii
Result¡GWhether or not EMT-P is present (N=884), the survival rate is
1.02(OR=1.02 CI=95%). If the OHCA in the residence has EMT-P attendance
(N=412), the overall survival is 1.18 times (OR=1.18 CI=95%). The general
team has EMT-P attendance (N=80) OHCA in the residence, and the survival
rate is 1.13 times (OR=1.13. CI=95%). However, if you use the OHCA in the
house and have a special rescue team EMT-P to attend (N=342), the survival
    rate can reach 2.37 times (OR=2.37 CI=95%).
