| Abstract |
The calamities features of long highway tunnels are much more complex than which of other open environment. If traffic accidents happen in long highway tunnels, it will have difficulties for communication, low availability of rescue, unclear situations and hardness of rescue, which can easily lead to huge casualties. The high heat caused from the long burning of fire accidents might poses a threat to the structure of tunnels, which lead to crack, collapse, road carbonization and facility damage. As results, the maintenance expense and the inconvenience of traffic are barely estimable. Consequently, strengthening the firefighters training on rescuing of fire accidents, controlling the disaster scale fast and efficiently and enhance the efficiency of rescuing accidents is one of the solutions. |
