The point of this study cuts into the position of patients and their family, aiming to discover the interrelation and mutual influence on degrees of expectation, satisfaction, and loyalty of service quality in teaching hospitals. The analysis uses several statistical methods that include Items Relation Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Descriptive Statistics Analysis, Factors Analysis, Chi-square Test, Independent-Sample T Test, Paired-Samples T Test, Analysis Of Variation Analysis, Logistic Regression Analysis, and Important-performance Analysis (also known as IPA Strategy Management Matrix). The analysis indicates the unstaisfied in service quality of teaching hospitals from patients and their family, and offers a reference of improvement and adjustment for teaching hospitals in the future. The empirical study shows that there is an obvious difference between degree of expectation and that of satisfaction in service quality of teaching hospitals, indicating the cognition of expectation and viewpoints of real feeling from patients and their family are inconsistent. In addition, Logistic Regression Analysis indicates that the image of teaching hospitals can set a valid forecast and explanation the loyalty from patients and their family, which means the hospital image does play an important role in how patients and their family choose a hospital. As a result, if teaching hospitals can hold this superiority, and improve other factors in service quality, not only the achievement and competitive power will be promoted, but more patients will be benefited. |
