Title The Study of Scrap tire steel Fiber Application in Plain concrete

  • Abstract This study was aimed at assessing the behavior of fresh concrete, hardened properties of concrete, and durability of concrete by adding scrap tire steel Fiber in concrete with different water-cement ratio (W/B). Furthermore, this research was to explore the effect on the concrete properties regarding to different scrap tire steel Fiber amount and concrete ratio. The results showed that scrap tire steel Fiber added into concrete can reduce the liquidity and innate character. Beside that, adding scrap tire steel Fiber can effectively reduce the setting time of concrete, compressive strength, bending strength. And also, observation by experimental groups can be seeing the adding scrap tire steel Fiber group has more intensity than the existing reinforcement concrete. The surface resistance, another statistics, represented that added tire Fiber resistance can lead to the quality of its anti-poor. Experimentation indicated that ultrasonic pulse velocity results for age by 91 days and ultrasonic pulse velocity 4000 m/s can achieve a good quality of concrete goals, and also concrete with scrap tire steel Fiber showed a good corrosion resistance by sodium sulfate. Scrap tire steel Fiber used in ordinary concrete can be significantly improved hardened properties of concrete, but the exaggerated ratio may cause the nature of Fiber folded. It was subject to works condition for adjusting in order to achieve the maximum performance.
