Keyword | |||
Abstract | The purpose for this paper is to increase the public bystander's will to do cardio pulmonary resuscitation(CPR). Though Taiwan government is promoting general people doing CPR, and "CPR" is not an unfamiliar word for great majority citizen, seldom people are willing to do or have courage to do it. It has been my observation that public bystanders seldom do CPR before Emergency Medical Technician arrives at the accident. There are many factors that cause public bystanders stop from doing CPR. This paper is to discuss the way to reduce people's anxiety and further increase the desire to do CPR. The research use Xindian branch, New Taipei City Government for example, also record the Emergency Medical Technician's experience and follow up the patients recovery. According to the bid data analysis, there are three main point. First, the public bystander doing CPR is safe and sound and increase survival rate and recovery progress efficiently. Second, the survival rate is not different between the public bystander and medical staff. Finally, the public bystander doing CPR at the first minute can increase defibrillation rate. |
