  • Abstract This thesis discusses all the nonsensical actions in the sheeting and paintwork of automobiles maintenance field, and how to reduce them using TOYOTA production system (TPS). With improving the procedure, appointment, management, operation and equipment, it will shorten service time efficiently and unify a good SOP to service men. At the same time, it also increases satisfaction and brings more profit.
    The results of this study are shown as that after standardizing the 6-step process of the sheeting and paintwork maintenance, the processing time is reduced from the previous 24 hours to 9 hours; it achieves 96.5% satisfaction in customer surveys. As customers are more satisfied, the enterprises also increase their competitiveness in the efficiency process. The profits of before and after the improvement are analyzed with linear regression. As the results, it is confirmed that the increase in satisfaction does bring more benefits.
